Wayne has two children, Michael, at Abilene
Christian University, and Justin, managing the Art Showroom. Wayne
first soloed at sixteen and has since logged over 20,000 hours in a
variety of aircraft. Before the acquisition of Helicopters Inc in 1997,
he worked for over twenty years selling aircraft parts for the Ellis
Horn Company and most recently Aviall. Wayne is on the executive
committee of the Tennessee Aviation Association, holds a Multi-Engine
Airline Transport certificate with a Lear Jet Type Rating, and is a CFI
(Certified Flight Instructor) in both airplanes and helicopters.
